UGHELLI —THE
Delta State governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC,
in the 2015 general election, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, has described the
emergence of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as governor-elect of Ondo State as a
light at the end of the tunnel for Delta State.
“The victory of
APC in both Edo and Ondo states, is a reaffirmation of the trust and
belief Nigerians have in the APC at all levels,” Emerhor said in a
statement signed by his media aide, Jefia Dede.
According to
Emerhor said: “This portends great news for progressives’ struggle to
rescue Delta State from the crutches of the PDP come 2019 and we can now
see a very bright light at the end of the tunnel for Delta State.”
Applauding
President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC national leadership for the
doggedness in ensuring the success of the party, Emerhor said: “I praise
the Ondo people for making the right choice as the pedigree and
credentials of Akeredolu distinguished him as the best man for the job.”
