DSPG STUDENTS BEMOANS LACK OF PORTABLE WATER IN OGWASHI-UKU

Students of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku has expressed
bitterness over the lack of portable water in the community and its
environs, describing the situation as annoying.
In a brief media chat, Olesedeme Chenedum explained that the lack of
water in the polytechnic environment is disgusting and appalling, adding
that because of the situation, he spends a lot of money buying water.
In the same vein, Desire Onogaga of Department of Mathematics and
Statistics bemoaned the situation, pointing that ever since she gained
admission into the polytechnic has spent fortune buying water for
her consumption. Noting that the situation has made many students to
leave the town for Azagba and Asaba respectively.
The duo called on Federal and State government, and Non Governmental
Organization to come to their aid as the high cost of living, couple
with the lack of portable water is making life unbearable for them.
